Very good location, just in the city centre, 3min walk from Undeground station. 10min walking to Hide park.
Very small rooms, not properly cleaned. Not enough towels in the bathroom. Breakfast till 9:30, but already at 9:15 no food for breakfast available.
Central location in town and close to subway station (gloucester road). Room was small, but functional and tidy.
Absence of warm water (took more than 10 minutes to become lukewarm) and the breakfast was very basic.
The staff prepared breakfast early just for our family as I was running the marathon the next day
Hotel was very central also room was very big with nice bath and shower. Location was ideal for visiting london also quiet and peaceful area .We would stay here again
The location was absolutely ideal for public transportation everywhere in London, as well as easy access from Heathrow while transporting luggage. The room was plenty large enough for myself, my spouse and two adult children. An added perk was the close proximity of restaurants, shops, Museums, pubs, the post and banks.
Nothing negative to relate. It was clean, the staff was very pleasant, accommodations were quiet. We were very pleased.
Staff were rude. Water pipes in wall cavities were loud. Small desk fans were insufficient for summer nights.
The locaion; near tube station, bars and restaurants nearby. Very good value for money. Availability of triple room for three adults, we travel with our two grown up children and one of their partners which means we would otherwise have to pay for a single room for our son.
Its location and the attention of its staff.
The shower's water temperature mixer was not working so the shower would be too cold (at night) or much too hot (in the morning). The bedside reading lights were, both, not working.
Hotel is situated close to the underground station so it is easy to reach any place in the city. Only problem was with hot water, somehow it was difficult arrange the temperature. No air conditioning provided, but no big deal for London in summer months I guess.
Good location, very close to the underground station.
There was a strange smell in the room so we have to have windows open all the time, which was inconvenient because of the noise from the street. Wi fi signal was so low that it was difficult to connect. Breakfast was really basic....Furniture and carpet quite old but the worst thing was bedding. It was an old blanket wrapped in two sheets, whic were not even sewn. Price to high comparing to standard.
The hotel staff were very helpful, the room was clean and the breakfast was very good and served in nice suroundings, we would stay in this hotel again
Nothing, the discription on its web page was honest and true
We had a most enjoyable stay. Close to the tube, good local restaurants which were child friendly. Clean, quiet and staff helpful and welcoming
Breakfast not exciting but plenty of it
the room was clean and bright. It was comfortable with TV, duvet and free WiFi The staff were kind and attentive It was ideally placed for the tube station and had shops nearby
Little things were missing breakfast was very basic, no muesli, no marmalade, no rolls Our beds were thrown together not made When we returned to our room we found 2 workmen who then requested we go away for 10 minutes
Great location 2 mins walk from Gloucester Road Tube Station. Friendly staff. Twin room was very small but exceptionally clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast good. Hotel allowed me to leave my bags the following day and collect them later before travelling home.
Location location location! Excellent location with a very helpful & friendly staff especially at reception & even in the breakfast room! Not even needing to change tube stations if heading to Covent Garden etc.
Only 1 thing. The linen collection at 1am in the morning! Surely something could be rearranged so that County Linen are not keeping you awake for approx an hour!
